New this year-Team Competition for 5K Run
Participants can choose to be on a co-ed team consisting of at least 4 members. There are 3 categories available (organization, family & friends) with fun awards to the top team overall in each category. The awards are for best team costume, fastest team (adding up the top 4 co-ed times) & for the team with the most members registered prior to Packet Pickup. So get people from work, or your family or a group of running friends to sign up for this fun competition!

USATF Certifed 5K Race • 5K Walk • 1K Fun Run
The Valvoline Instant Oil Change Goblin Gallop is a USATF certified 5K race, a 5K Walk and a 1K Fun Run. This year’s race will be held on Sunday, October 30th, 2011. Last year over 1,500 runners & walkers participated in what was described as our “best race” ever!

The Goblin Gallop is a competitive 5 K chip race over a USATF certified course. Prizes for first, second, and third place, male and female, are awarded in all group categories from 14 and under to 70 and older. Prizes to the top 3 male and female finishers in the Overall and Masters categories will also be awarded.

The Goblin Gallop is also a 1K Fun Run, which annually draws more than 400 youngsters, from teenagers to toddlers. Many run in costume, some accompanied by their parents. Every 1K participant receives a runner's medallion!
